The Team:
Norton Rose Fulbright's global competition team comprises more than 180 attorneys and is on the top 10 Global Elite competition practice of the Global Competition Review (GCR) 2022.
Our Brussels office is a key part of our global competition practice and we work with companies and government organisations from around the world on national, EU and multijurisdictional matters. The office also advises in related areas such as public procurement, state aid and economic regulation.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers on a diverse range of matters for international clients, both standalone and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Engage in day-to-day client contact, building strong relationships and trust from the outset.
- Conduct legal, business, and market analysis to support case strategy and client advice.
- Draft legal documents and deliver clear, concise written and oral advice.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including preparing presentations and supporting webinars.
- Stay current with developments in competition law, actively contributing to internal knowledge sharing and authoring legal articles.
Skills And Experience Required:
- Lawyer duly registered with the Brussels Bar (or qualified with a bar in a Member State of the European Union).
- Master’s degree in law (LL.M.) with specialisation in EU law or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience practicing EU competition law, ideally in a international law firm.
- Excellent command of English.
- Native-level Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Outstanding analytical, drafting and communication skills.
- High levels of computer literacy and competence.
Additional language skills and experience in other jurisdictions are an advantage. We require an understanding of economic and international relationships as well as the ability to work independently and in a team.
