The Thomson Reuters Foundation is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our Programmes team and support the delivery of impactful projects within our Responsible Business portfolio.
This role will play a key part in ensuring smooth project execution through financial oversight, logistics coordination, and administrative support. You’ll also lead capacity-building initiatives and organize convenings that advance responsible business practices globally.

Please note that this role is a fixed term contract until December 2026.
About The Role
As a Senior Project Coordinator at Thomson Reuters, you will:
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support throughout the project portfolio and ensuring the projects’ activities align with TRF policies.
- Take lead in some aspects of monthly accounting cycle such as accruals and support the PM in project forecasting and financial reporting.
- Coordinate activities with project team members, internal functions (finance, comms, etc.) external contractors and partner organizations, and ensure continuity in coordination and communication.
- Support the portfolio logistics needs, especially related to travels, and in-person delivery, ensuring all operations are in line with TRF policy
- Support knowledge capture, ensuring that we document our networks, relationships and ongoing conversations systematically.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and data using tools like Salesforce and keep track of examples of impact and contribute to project progress reports (internal and external)
- Develop and manage key project management tools, such as work plan and risk registers, under the lead of the Portfolio Manager and the Project Managers
- Participate project-relevant meetings with external stakeholders, conferences and events and feedback information to the team
- Support knowledge sharing and learning for the Programmes team by sharing lessons learnt and contributing to discussions to increase wider team understanding.
- Support the Project Manager in identification of potential and emerging risks and issues which could impact the successful delivery of the portfolio and/or individual projects. Escalate critical concerns. Contribute to development of mitigation strategies.
About You
To be our Senior Project Coordinator, you will likely have:
- Up to 5 years’ experience in project coordination, ideally with exposure to financial processes.
- Strong experience of administrative or finance processes and budget management
- Excellent organisational, task management and prioritisation skills and the ability to work with changing priorities and time pressures.
- A pro-active self-starting and problem-solving attitude, including paying attention to detail and being good on follow-through
- Highly motivated with ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with prior experience building relationships across teams and organisations with common goals, and working constructively with a diverse range of people
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and project management tools (Salesforce a plus)
- Understanding of labour rights, and media capacity building with a passion for human rights.
