- Maintain a strong understanding of the UK regulated energy market, including Ofgem frameworks, industry codes (CUSC, Grid Code), and current reforms such as Connections Reform and Queue Management.
- Oversee the financial aspects of connection contracts, including securities, milestone payments, and compliance with governance processes.
- Support the development and delivery of investment plans for major DG connections, balancing technical, commercial, and regulatory considerations.
- Provide insight and advice to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior management and governance forums.
What You’Ll Bring
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with external parties such as NESO and customers.
- Good understanding of the UK electricity regulatory framework, including Ofgem’s role, NESO processes, and key industry codes.
- Knowledge of financial governance, securities, and payment processes within a regulated environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, commercial, and regulatory teams to deliver complex projects.
- What’s in it for you
