About The Role

Evaluate best methods to improve the image quality of IR cameras mounted behind a NeoQLED display

• Un-distort image stream and minimize reflection and de-fraction artifacts in order to optimize effectiveness of image processing algorithms such as Gaze detection
• Data collection or creation
• Collaborate with different teams across Harman

What You Will Do

• Improve image quality for IR camera mounted behind a NeoQLED Display

What You Need to Be Successful

• Student with major in engineering, robotics, computer science or related fields
• Profound analytical and mathematical skills
• Good knowledge of classic and AI based Computer Vision methods
• Basic competences on Camera- and Display Hardware technologies
• Knowledge and interest in systems engineering, simulation and signal processing
• Experience with python scripting
• Hands on experience with at least one standard AI Frameworks
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in English, self-organized and highly motivated

Bonus Points if You Have

• Programming (C++ or Matlab/Simulink environment)
• Prior experience with ROS, CARLA, OpenCV
