Summary:

In this role, you will build strategic plans to address provider needs and design solutions to drive revenue and value across a regional territory that spans MO, KS, IL, IA, AR, and OK. You will manage relationships with small to medium hospital accounts, champion spend management activities, and partner with client leadership to align Vizient solutions that solve problems, deliver measurable value, and strengthen partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion and coordinate all spend management activity through account planning with client stakeholders and Vizient resources.
  • Engage client leadership across spend management categories to align priorities with Vizient solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Lead development and execution of client account plans, project plans, and workplans.
  • Utilize Vizient insights and intelligence to highlight value, mitigate risk, and influence client decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Affiliate Sponsors to drive adoption of spend programs and enhance KPIs.
  • Activate renewal strategies including financial modeling, upsells, scope approvals, SOW generation, and invoicing.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with supply chain leaders, executive sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Partner with enterprise leaders in executive business reviews and client engagements.
  • Lead internal spend delivery team meetings to align on workplan progress and execution.
  • Maintain CRM database activity updates and account plan documentation to achieve revenue goals.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Degree Preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required; account management/sales experience in a hospital/health care setting strongly preferred.
  • Proven contracting, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account and project plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage executives and clients.
  • Experience interpreting data and insights to align with client strategies and priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
  • Candidate must reside in MO, KS, IL, IA, AR, or OK.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
