Platform Engineering Engineer 2

• Summary of the Role
• You’ll work with a variety of technologies to support and automate our distributed production environment, contributing to the reliability and efficiency of our systems.

In This Role You’Ll

• Support and maintain Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Apply networking concepts to ensure system connectivity and performance.
• Develop and maintain scripts and batch processes for automation.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure and automation using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Create clear and thorough documentation for processes and systems.

About The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working in a similar role, supporting Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
• Proficiency in networking concepts and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals and automation tools (such as Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Problem-solving skills to understand user requirements and improve job flows and schedules.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; contributes to timely completion of project deliverables.

Additional Experience

• Experience with C++ or system administration.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, if required.
• Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (API), file transfers, plugins, or high availability systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools.
