Payment and Settlement Officer

Job Description

To ensure settlement of VISA and UPI and prepare timely reconciliations of ledger accounts.

• Processing of daily VISA & UPI settlements and capturing online VISA settlements
• Processing of payments for business units.
• Provide VISA invoice analysis Monthly & Quarterly.
• Tracks & resolves all customer queries efficiently and escalate where necessary within agreed timelines.
• Prepares timely reconciliations for assigned General Ledger accounts.
• Processing of multi-currency settlements on Bancs
• Prepares and submits daily, weekly & Monthly suspense accounts reports.
• Capturing Monthly GL & accounts balancing on Banking accounting System (BAS)
• Processing of Purchase orders and supplier invoices and ensuring timely approvals.
• Ensures compliance with all statutory, legal, regulatory, policies of the bank and all payment associations.
• Prepares reports to justify any write offs on operational losses for management to make informed decisions.
• Adheres to cost control and cost saving initiatives
• Managing business merchandise allocations
• Processing of customer refunds & releasing of large items.
• Any other duties assigned.
