Position Summary:

The Patient Ambassador plays a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience by proactively engaging with patients on priority units and newly admitted patients within the hospital. The Ambassador will follow a structured script and adhere to training guidelines provided by Aramark to perform daily patient rounds, setting clear expectations for environmental services and addressing any concerns or service recovery needs in real time.


This role requires documenting each patient interaction promptly and accurately, with regular feedback shared with management. The Patient Ambassador will collaborate closely with frontline EVS teammates and nursing leadership to communicate patient feedback and findings, ensuring a cohesive approach to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.


The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. This role is instrumental in supporting Aramark’s mission to enhance the patient experience through exceptional service and communication.

Essential Tasks:


Perform patient rounding in a professional and welcoming manner to set expectations and build trust with the patient/customer.

Use service recovery tactics to resolve issues and/or address concerns in real time, including but not limited to taking care of EVS issues/findings, such as removing overflowing trash or picking up items off the floor, as well as reporting non-EVS concerns to the nurse leader.

Enter patient/customer feedback and report findings in real-time. Facility documentation and tracking may vary from paper documentation to electronic documentation.

Follow all facility and departmental policies and procedures.

Contributes to the overall quality of services, with a focus on safety and patient satisfaction.
