As our new Senior Cloud Architect, you will lead major aspects of design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and distributed systems on AWS. This senior role requires hands-on expertise along with the ability to drive technical decisions that develop our cloud strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with various technical teams on scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions. We are looking for a leading professional with a track record of developing and implementing standardized cloud patterns that enable organizations to achieve operational excellence and technical agility.

What You’Ll Do

• Design and implement robust, scalable cloud architectures on AWS, with particular focus on networking, security, and high availability
• Lead the development and implementation of cloud-native solutions, including microservices architectures and containerized applications
• Design and optimize network architectures including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks, including cost optimization, security controls, and operational excellence
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the organization
• Provide technical leadership in cloud migration strategies and application modernization initiatives
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement cost management strategies
• Collaborate with security teams to implement cloud security procedures and compliance requirements
• Mentor and guide development teams in cloud-native development practices and AWS services

How you’ll do it

• Several years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services
• Deep expertise in cloud networking, including VPC design, hybrid connectivity, and network security
• Extensive experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Strong background in DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Configuration Management)
• Shown experience with container orchestration platforms (EKS, ECS) and serverless architectures
• Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions in cloud environments
• Practical experience with automation and infrastructure scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Strong background in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK)
• Knowledge of cloud security procedures and compliance requirements
• Experience working in agile environments and with distributed teams
• Strong understanding of cost optimization and cloud economics
• Bonus points for:
• Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Advanced Networking)
• Experience with multiple cloud providers
• Background in software development
•  Experience with data analytics and big data architectures
• Knowledge of FinTech or gaming industry requirements
• This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic approach, and strong communication skills to efficiently drive cloud initiatives across the organization.
