About The Role:
The Global Service Desk is the central point of contact for AtkinsRéalis users reporting IT incidents or service requests. The team provides first-level multilingual support (English + French) and is the face of IT services within the organization, driving continuous service delivery improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all end-user reported issues or requests.
- Provide technical support for internal and external customers.
- Deliver first-line telephone support for hardware, operating systems, sub-systems, and applications.
- Apply basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of user issues until resolution, following up as required.
- Escalate complex issues to Remote Support Engineering or Field Engineering teams.
- Maintain call quality and response times as per SLA.
- Ensure all cases are accurately recorded and updated in the system.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Operating Systems
- Hardware and Networking
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and coordinate effectively.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any technical stream from a recognized university.
- No prior experience required – suitable for fresh graduates.
