Cencora is seeking a dynamic Director, Engagement and Partnerships to lead efforts that enhance visibility, foster meaningful connections, and elevate our presence within the health system segment.   • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies that align with organizational goals to increase awareness and drive customer engagement within the health systems segment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging, event participation, and industry partnerships support overall business objectives.
  • Identify and recommend high-impact events and conferences for organizational participation to maximize visibility and engagement.
  • Oversee the development of event strategies in collaboration with functional partners, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Ensure evaluation and analysis of events to continuously improve future engagement strategies.
  • Identify, recommend and manage partnership opportunities that support strategic priorities and demonstrate commitment to the health system segment.
  • Leverage partnership benefits, such as digital platforms and events, to expand the organization’s reach and influence.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify and engage suitable thought leaders at key industry events.
  • Manage charitable giving, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the health systems business
  • Establish and manage advisory board engagement model to foster collaboration with key stakeholders and thought leaders.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and governance structures to ensure effective functioning of customer advisory groups.
  • Support the development and execution of content and communication strategies for advisory boards and councils.
  • Design and execute communication strategies to ensure visibility and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate feedback loops between business leaders and advisory boards, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment.
  • Strengthen engagement with external audiences through targeted communication initiatives outside of live events.
  • Drive collaboration across internal teams to create efficient operating models and establish clear ways of working.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure alignment across commercial, functional, and marketing teams.
  • Partner with marketing and commercial teams to establish lead management frameworks and ensure effective follow-up.
  • Track and report on the return on investment (ROI) for events, partnerships, and engagement activities to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event strategy, industry partnerships, and customer engagement, ideally within the hospital, healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to unite cross-functional teams around strategic goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing advisory boards or councils.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to inform future strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and optimize ROI for engagement activities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in business, marketing, communications,  or related field preferred.

$124,000 - 190,850

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
