The company has an opening for New York for a Territory Manager.
Job Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible to generate all sales activities in their geographic territory, including education of company products to dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants and office staff. The Territory Manager drives/reports all sales activities through the CRM system and works closely with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas are met.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Territory Management:
- Visit dental offices, dental centers, and dentistry departments to promote/sell products efficiently and effectively.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Provide quality information on Septodont products.
Selling:
- Influence effectively and exhibit a desire to learn consultative selling skills.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Adjust strategies based on dynamic market conditions and customer needs.
- Follow sales processes and directions, including account targeting, CRM management, and consultative selling techniques.
Results Orientation:
- Initiate and drive sales efforts independently.
- Demonstrate tenacity in pursuing and achieving sales goals.
- Set and exceed sales targets and performance benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas are met.
Interpersonal & Leadership:
- Recognize personal strengths and areas for development.
- Be open to feedback and continuously seek improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, channel partners, and colleagues.
Product Knowledge and Dental Clinical/Scientific Context:
- Learn and apply complex product attributes and procedural contexts.
- Communicate effectively about dental products, procedures, and scientific aspects to clients.
Business Acumen:
- Utilize technology (Teams, Showpad, CRM, BI, MS Office, etc.) to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrate mental agility to solve problems and overcome challenges.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the dental or healthcare industry, utilizing a consultative sales approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using technology for sales and business management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective goals.
- Maintain a positive attitude that motivates and inspires others.
- Show potential for growth and leadership within the company.
- Proven experience in roles requires a deep understanding of clinical contexts.
- Strong supporter and proficient user of Customer Relationship Management systems.
