Responsibilities :

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented ServiceNow QA Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our ServiceNow platform implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to validate new features, integrations, and customizations within ServiceNow, helping deliver a seamless user experience.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ServiceNow testing environments, a strong understanding of QA best practices, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on ServiceNow platform changes and customizations.
  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Identify, log, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Validate that ServiceNow workflows, business rules, forms, and scripts operate as expected.
  • Conduct testing of ServiceNow integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Support the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation efforts.
  • Assist in preparing test environments and data for testing activities.
  • Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to project teams and management.
  • Assist in the release and deployment validation of new functionality and patches into production.
  • Contribute to QA process improvement initiatives, including test automation, standards development, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in testing ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform components including Incident, Problem, Change Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and workflows.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, defect logging, and test documentation.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (JavaScript) within ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Understanding of ITSM processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • 3-5 years working experience preferred. 2+ years of experience with software testing and/or quality management.
  • 2+ years of experience managing test plans in test management platform 

Key Skills

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks applicable to ServiceNow.
  • ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
