POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
As Copier Setup Lead you will be responsible for the day-to-day flow of work through the copier setup department while providing mentorship and assistance to other individuals on the copier setup team. You will also be responsible for preparing all new and used copier equipment for resale, taking care to meet or exceed all established quality assurance standards.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- ▪ Lead the copier setup team members to include:
- o Train new team members.
- o Be the first escalation point of contact to handle issues and involve direct manager as needed.
- o Monitor team coverage, make sure back-ups are in place, and redistribute work to cover when others are out.
- o Monitor staffing and equipment needs.
- o Provide manager feedback for performance reviews.
- ▪ Work closely with Installation Manager to communicate workload, personnel feedback, and procedural needs/changes.
- ▪ Work with Install Manager to set and reinforce performance expectations.
- ▪ Proactively work with the Installation Manager on ways to improve processes and efficiencies.
- ▪ Perform assembly and setup of equipment utilizing the proper setup checklists, prioritizing based on the setup schedule.
- ▪ Troubleshoot any issues that arise during setup utilizing any resource available to ensure proper setup exceeding all established quality assurance standards.
- ▪ Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist.
- ▪ Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards.
- ▪ Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP system and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process.
- ▪ Move products in and around the distribution centers and to and from off-site storage.
- ▪ Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines.
- ▪ Order all parts and supplies needed to perform setup.
- ▪ Assist the Copier Setup Technicians with assembly procedures, as well as repair of new product when needed.
- ▪ Prepare all used product for delivery.
- ▪ Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry.
- ▪ Maintain and promptly clean all workspaces.
- ▪ Maintain 90% accountable time including approved training and technical training as trainer.
- ▪ Attend required company and departmental meetings.
- ▪ Assist with deliveries when workload requires it.
- ▪ Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
- ▪ Perform other related duties as assigned.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education and Experience
- ▪ High school diploma and two years of copier service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ▪ Two years of experience in a technical/mechanical or similar role preferred.
- ▪ Leadership experience preferred.
- ▪ Two-year technical degree or bachelor’s degree in an electronics field preferred.
- ▪ Basic mechanical and electronics background/experience or technical certification.
- Licenses and Certifications
- - Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
