Business Analyst Advisor

What does a successful Business Analyst Advisor do at Fiserv? 

As a Business Analyst Advisor at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we meet our commitments to our financial institution partners. You will actively contribute to driving client satisfaction by engaging with stakeholders across the organization.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their business objectives and success metrics, ensuring alignment with Fiserv’s offerings.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, testing, and configuration of system settings to support client needs.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive project requirements and integrated project plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Fiserv teams, supporting client initiatives and driving successful delivery of services.
  • Monitor client project portfolios and service tickets, facilitating timely resolutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with product and technology teams to support cross-client initiatives during platform changes.

What You Will Do:

  • Champion client delivery and service processes, proactively managing client initiatives.
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer, gathering feedback to enhance end-to-end client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to enhance their business outcomes.
  • Align with key organizational partners including executive leadership, sales, marketing, operations, and finance to drive collective success.
  • Translate client business requirements into actionable solutions that achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Manage client projects while providing expert consultation and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Offer insights into product capabilities and best practices for addressing complex business challenges.
  • Ensure completion and approval of testing, user documentation, and blended learning plans.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field.
  • Over 6-10 years of experience in business and IT program and project management.
  • 6-10 years of experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of effectively driving delivery and achieving business objectives.
  • Understanding of business financial practices and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with FD systems (PCF, ACS, Letters, DQ, Rules) preferred.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Development methodologies preferred.

What would be great to have:

  • Operational consulting experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business and technical concepts.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels from C-suite to technical teams.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, with the ability to influence through collaboration.
  • Proven ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with diverse constituents.
