Senior Architect Analytics & Reporting (m/f/d)

As part of the SAP S/4HANA Analytics & Reporting team you will be responsible as a Solution Architect for the design and implementation of analytics and reporting solutions within the Fresenius business transformation program. The role involves working on applications considered as embedded analytics within SAP S/4HANA and Business Warehouse solutions like SAP Business Data Cloud (using Datasphere and Databricks) along with reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.

Your Assignments

• Design and implement end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions using Datasphere (BDC), Databricks, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Power BI in alignment with business and regulatory requirements
• Manage analytics process templates and reporting structures across S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP Business Data Cloud, and external systems
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring compliance with authorization concepts and segregation of duties
• Drive the full implementation lifecycle from solution design through testing to deployment, including thorough documentation using modern tools
• Evaluate and recommend optimal architecture and tooling for analytics and reporting landscapes
• Develop scalable data models, pipelines, dashboards, reports, and KPIs across SAP and non-SAP platforms
• Leverage both traditional SAP BW and modern SAP Business Data Cloud methodologies, ensuring future-proof architecture
• Utilize embedded analytics and custom views in S/4HANA to enhance real-time reporting and operational efficiency
• Promote data-efficient practices, avoiding redundancy, enabling data tiering, and optimizing data growth for long-term sustainability
• Apply SAP standard configuration options to meet business needs effectively while ensuring maintainability and scalability
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business information systems, or a related field

Your Profile

• At least 10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence (SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, BEx Query Designer, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Very good knowledge in SAP BI/BW BackEnd technology (SAP BW on HANA, BW/4, Datasphere, Databricks, Business Data Cloud)
• Good knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA (MM, FI, CO, PP, SD) as well as in SAC Planning and BI Integrated Planning
• Good Knowledge of ABAP, SQL and data warehouse concepts
• Power BI skills would be an advantage
• Knowledge in AI would be an advantage
• Team-oriented working behavior, strong intercultural competencies as well as analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
