As our Sport Event Coordinator, based on the Gold Coast, you’ll lead the planning, delivery and improvement of lifesaving sport events across Queensland. You’ll be the driving force behind both large-scale state competitions and local club events - ensuring consistency, safety, and a high standard of delivery. What You’Ll Do:

• Develop project plans for all sport events and programs.
• Coordinate logistics, approvals, equipment and vendor relationships.
• Support host clubs and ensure compliance with event standards.
• Coordinate and improve sport event calendars across the state.
• Debrief events and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Support local Branches and Clubs in delivering their events.

About You:

• A Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Tertiary qualifications in Sport or Event Management, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience coordinating multiple events or programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects independently and drive outcomes.
• Great multitasking, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Experience in working with volunteers and within not-for-profit environments.
• Solid understanding of WHS, risk management and compliance in events.
• Availability to attend evening and weekend events.
• Strong understanding of Surf Lifesaving principles and operations (highly desirable).
