Position Description: 
The Actuarial and Risk Analyst position is responsible for leading some aspects of analytical support for actuarial financial and risk reporting, modeling and analysis, experience analysis, pricing/product development, and product management. Provides analysis and resolves some complex problems and issues completely, accurately, and on a timely basis. This is a position on the Group Reporting Team, whose primary goal is to improve business decisions and customer experience by enhancing access to consistent, quality data.

Position Location:

  • This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home. 

What You Do:

  • Accesses and retrieves data from various systems.
  • Prepares, maintains, and distributes materials to internal customers.
  • Performs established operational processes completely, accurately, and on a timely basis.
  • Prepares and maintains accurate documentation in accordance with appropriate standards.
  • Performs calculations using well-defined processes.

What You Bring:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required: preferred degree focus in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of related experience required
  • Experience with Business Intelligence Tools preferred: Cognos, Power BI, SQL
  • Experience with programming languages preferred: Python, R
