This position is for an AI and Machine Learning Engineer Intern with an opportunity to be mentored by Engineering leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the organization. Work on projects that impact the business, where you'll gain real-life exposure to the dynamic environment of a high performing engineering team. Supplylogix is a software company that develops and delivers practical supply chain intelligence solutions for pharmacy and related businesses. We are a small, efficient team that builds and maintains software which manages inventory for pharmacies nationwide. Being a small business-unit in a larger corporation gives us the benefit of having a stable backbone, but the ability to react quickly to our clients’ requests. We have the experience, resources, vision and passion to build great software that helps our clients achieve greater supply chain efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Work on projects that directly leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to solve real-world supply chain and pharmacy challenges.
• Gain hands-on experience with data preprocessing, model development, training, evaluation, and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional partners on the design and implementation of predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and automation tools.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and demos, with the opportunity to present your AI/ML work to the broader company.
• Receive mentorship from experienced AI/ML engineers and data scientists, and connect with other interns and employees across the company.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong coding skills, with experience in Python and/or other languages commonly used in AI/ML (e.g., R, Java, C#).
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and foundational AI/ML concepts (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, model evaluation).
• Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and working with large datasets.
• Interest in cloud technologies (especially Azure) and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Coursework or project experience in AI/ML, deep learning, or data science.
• Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, or automated ML pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative software development practices.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
