Why You’ll Love This Role…In this newly created role, you’ll be the driving force behind rebel’s retail transformation. From new store openings to refurbishments and upgrades, you’ll scope, plan, and deliver projects that align with our brand model – ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless and inspiring experience.
What You’Ll Do
- Lead projects end-to-end – scope, plan, and deliver store development works on time and within budget.
- Bring our brand to life – develop fixture layout plans, external signage mock-ups, and in-store experiences that reflect Rebel’s brand standards.
- Manage compliance – oversee traffic management plans, SWMS documentation, inductions, and ensure all projects meet council and legislative requirements.
- Engage stakeholders – collaborate with regional managers, store teams, contractors, and head office teams to deliver projects that exceed expectations.
- Champion communication – ensure all parties are aligned with project objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
- Lead and inspire – guide cross-functional teams, provide coaching, and support development to deliver strong performance and succession planning.
What You’Ll Bring
- Proven experience in retail store development, area/region management, or large-scale store operations
- Strong retail merchandising knowledge
- Project management capability – planning, budgeting, and delivering large-scale retail projects.
- Leadership skills – ability to motivate, coach, and influence
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management – confident in negotiating, influencing, and building trust across all levels.
- Financial acumen – managing CAPEX, budgets, and ensuring ROI alignment.
- Tech-savvy with MS Office; exposure to MS Project, Smartsheet, or AutoCAD is a plus.
