Product Development Manager - 12 month FTC

TPG Telecom has finalised the sale of its fibre network infrastructure assets and enterprise, government and wholesale fixed business. We are undertaking detailed separation and transition work for this exciting transaction to ensure our teams and customers are supported through this process.

Your Opportunity:

As our valued Product Development Manager, you will play a vital role in defining detailed product requirements and collaborating with Commercial, IT, design and Engineering teams to create and manage products, solution designs and migration strategies.

You'Ll Make Impact By:

• Defining detailed product requirements and collaborating with design, IT, Billing and Engineering teams to inform product, migration decisions impacting commercials and customer experience.
• Gathering and preparing cost analysis for managing products and customer migrations.
• Assess solution options for optimal delivery to business needs
• Develop workarounds and manage urgent product and migration issues
• Champion for customer experience
• Ensuring that all platforms and processes are developed, operational readiness and E2E business readiness testing is completed and signed off
• Developing and maintaining detailed internal product documentation including service descriptions, user stories, decision making rationale, IT specifications, user guides, fact sheets, etc.
• Support project budgets, deliverables, milestones, timelines and keep stakeholders updated on project’s progress, status, and project issues

What You’Ll Bring:

• Proven product management or product development experience
• Commercial acumen
• Knowledge and expertise in the telco and/or technology market
• Understanding of network technologies and IT Platforms
• Project management skills to keep the budgeting, tasks, and timelines in check.
• Outstanding influencing skills coupled with strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to lead collaboratively across multiple cross functional teams to deliver outcomes
• Exceptional drive to inspire change, and a proven track record of problem solving in complex business problems.
• Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and fortitude.
• Mobility experience would be great
