Bookings Administrator/Receptionist
- Location: Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford
- Hours: 30 per week
- Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits
Where You'Ll Be Based:
Springfield hospital is conveniently located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with plenty of free parking onsite. The hospital has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare for patients who are self-funding treatment, patients with health insurance, or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Bookings Administrator/Receptionist to join the team at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford. In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will be expected to deliver a first-class service to patients, consultants and colleagues.
We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team. You must be computer literate – experience with Word and Outlook being essential. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage.
What you will bring with you:
Excellent Organisational Skills
- Proven experience in administration and customer service
- An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Outlook
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – written and oral
- Ability to work under pressure with set deadlines to process booking appointments
- The ability to work within a team
- The ability to time-manage
- Experience using a Patient Administration System (PAS) would be an advantage
