Description
Main Purpose Of The Role:
Support the Logistics Process Manager in all facets of global & regional IT project implementations including business & systems analysis, systems design and development, business process restructuring, change management, quality assurance, best practice adherence, data auditing, training, system errors remedy, and testing.
Main Tasks:
- Conduct end user analysis with local agency to determine localization needs/process issues.
- Assist in collecting gaps in their field of expertise.
- Update AIM & Corp teams as requested.
- Receive & implement proper solutions for gaps raised from the Fit In analysis in the agency.
- Ensure all needed resources are allocated as required in their field of expertise.
- Receive all information from local staff regarding data migration, infrastructure, EDI, local regulations, etc.
- Assist in maintaining all training material for the local implementation.
- Support all end users in their field of expertise as needed through the local implementation.
- Provide on-site expertise and exercise independent judgement in directing process implementation that is critical to successful implementation and sustainment of program business goals.
- Maintain & update best practice compliance with agencies in the area.
- Take an active role in raising business issues and contributing to solutions.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive business relationships with project manager, team members, managers, and staff in major segments of the organization.
- Highly motivated with excellent work ethic, energy, initiative and a team attitude.
- Support the regional management team in recruiting, coaching, developing and retaining employees.
Requirements
- B.S/B.A. degree in Business Administration, IT or CS major preferred
- Comparable business experience;
- Commercial/Transportation Industry Knowledge is a plus;
- SAP experience/ knowledge in the Commercial discipline preferred. Project Management is a plus.
- EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) knowledge, E-Commerce intermediate experience, Software knowledge relevant to the Transportation and Shipping Industry, GT Nexus knowledge is a plus.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point, Strong ability to operate multiple systems and system integrations.
