We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Full-Stack Engineer to join our People Engineering team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Consults with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support.
• Provides application software development services or technical support in more complex situations.
• May also be responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation.
• Has thorough knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Conducts reviews of the test Plan and test Data.
• S/he analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems.
• S/he also ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating, coding, testing, implementation and documentation.
• Must have some knowledge on or both the user-side frontend of a website, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side.
• Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites.
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions.
• Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain).
• Execute full lifecycle software development.
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure software is updated with latest features.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. 
• Active learning engagement.
• Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time.
• Demonstrate teamwork.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
• Collaborate closely with all the other members of the team to take shared responsibility for the overall efforts that the team has committed to.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
• Utilize local meetups to gain and share knowledge.
• Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• Typically, 5-9 years of experience
• Experience in using a Oracle HCM, Oracle OIC or Visual Builder Cloud Service a plus. Familar with Oracle SQL
• Teamwork skills.
• Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.

This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to the seamless integration of complex systems. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the design and development of full-stack applications by utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performance. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Ensure high quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processes. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of BNY's technology solutions. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies to advance BNY's engineering capabilities. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-9 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise in full-stack development. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within diverse teams.
