A healthier future. It’s what drives us to innovate. To continuously advance science and ensure everyone has access to the healthcare they need today and for generations to come. Creating a world where we all have more time with the people we love. That’s what makes us Roche.

This role is based in the Innovation Accelerator (IA) team, the innovation engine and connective tissue for Design, Data and Data Science innovation within Product Development Data Sciences (PDD). We translate our long-term PDD vision into actionable strategy, shaping and prioritizing innovative cross-functional use cases that span PDD, PD, and Pharma. As both integrators and incubators, we explore, prototype, and help productize solutions in close partnership with internal Roche teams and external collaborators. With a mindset rooted in openness, value creation, and adaptability, we navigate the innovation ecosystem to drive transformative impact and future readiness across the organization.

The Opportunity

  • You manage the planning and coordination of moderately complex innovation initiatives within the broader Innovation Accelerator portfolio
  • You collaborate with product managers and technical leads to develop execution plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with strategic objectives
  • You coordinate cross-functional delivery across engineering, data science, UX, and compliance teams, supporting alignment and resolving operational challenges
  • You monitor initiative progress through key metrics and status updates, identifying and addressing potential risks or blockers
  • You support initiative reporting and communication for governance processes and stakeholder engagement
  • You guide the use and continuous improvement of program management tools and templates used across the function
  • You participate in cross-functional forums to share insights, lessons learned, and support continuous improvement of delivery practices
  • You provide functional guidance to junior program coordinators or team members and act as a resource for navigating Roche processes and standards

Who You Are:

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably within a digital innovation, health, or R&D setting; or an advanced degree with 3 years of equivalent work experience
  • You are familiar with agile methodologies and project delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence)
  • You have the ability to manage timelines, monitor deliverables, and coordinate across diverse teams
  • You have demonstrated ability to work independently within established guidelines and policies
  • You have strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate across stakeholders
  • You have experience providing guidance or mentorship to less experienced colleagues
  • You have capacity for independent thinking and ability to make decisions based upon sound principles
  • You exhibit excellent strategic agility including problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and agility that extends beyond technical domain
  • You demonstrate respect for cultural differences when interacting with colleagues in the global workplace
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically in the areas of presentation and writing, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear language

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with regulated or GxP-compliant environments
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional initiative planning or portfolio reporting
  • Awareness of the clinical development process or digital product lifecycle
  • Interest in continuous improvement, agile delivery, or team collaboration tools
