Business Analyst Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct research and analysis to identify business trends and business opportunities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines for implementing business solutions
• Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements and processes
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Support the development and implementation of new systems and processes
• Perform data analysis using various tools and methodologies
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure business requirements are met
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
• Maintain and update project documentation as needed
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure successful project delivery

Business Analyst Qualifications & Skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role
• Strong understanding of business processes and project management methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team – self-starter and self-driven
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Ability to think critically and analytically
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar) is good to have
