About The Job
As Medical Lead Neurology Alpine within our Neurology Team, you’ll be responsible for providing scientific and medical leadership for Sanofi’s neurology portfolio — including tolebrutinib and future pipeline assets — across Switzerland and Austria. Reporting to the Head of Medical Specialty Care Alpine & Medical Country Lead Alpine, the role defines and drives the Alpine medical strategy, ensures excellence in evidence generation, medical education, and compliance, and fosters strong engagement with external stakeholders (KOLs, societies, institutions). This role requires close collaboration across countries, within the Specialty Care franchise, and with global/GSA teams. The Medical Lead Neurology Alpine will lead and develop the cross-country neurology medical team (Medical Engagement Manager and MSLs), ensuring scientific excellence and contributing to successful launches and lifecycle management.

Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Alpine neurology medical team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Ensure strong coordination between Swiss and Austrian medical colleagues to maximize impact and efficiency. Active Member of the Alpine Medical Leadership Team
- Locally adapt the global and GSA neurology medical strategies into Alpine-specific plans, and develop the Alpine Medical Roadmap addressing local needs
- Lead the preparation and execution of medical launch readiness for tolebrutinib and future neurology pipeline assets (advisory boards, scientific exchanges, educational events)
- Drive high quality scientific information, identify unmet medical needs, generate insights, and provide feedback to inform clinical development, evidence generation, and lifecycle planning.
- Shape and implement Alpine evidence generation plans in alignment with global/regional priorities (Company sponsored Studies, Investigator Sponsored Studies, Non-interventional studies, RWE)
- Ensure scientific accuracy, transparency, and compliance in all medical materials across both countries.
- Build and maintain strong scientific partnerships with external experts, medical societies, caregivers and institutions across both countries.
- Partner with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Public Affairs in Switzerland and Austria to ensure aligned and impactful strategies.
About You
Experience:
- Several years of senior level experience in Medical Affairs roles, including evidence generation, KOL engagement and medical launches.
- Experience in Specialty Care is desired. Expertise in neurology is an advantage.
- Experience working across multiple countries or in an international matrix environment. Alpine/Swiss/Austrian experience is a plus.
Soft And Technical Skills:
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrated success in leading and developing high performing medical teams.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations & codices – ideally in both countries
- Strong cross-functional partner with a One Sanofi mindset.

- Regular travel across Switzerland and Austria; occasional international travel.
Education:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD)
Languages:
- Business fluent in German and English (mandatory C2 level or native). French is desirable; proficiency in additional languages is beneficial
