About The Job

The position within the MSAT Data Sciences and Digital Transformations Flu Platform within Global MSAT Organization will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions that will enable Manufacturing to optimize the production cycle. This role will support Flu products across our portfolio allowing you to scale advanced analytical methods across a wide market. Our mission is to allow the MSAT organization to reach operational excellence in process development, optimization & sustainability by putting in place a true data driven organization.

In this role you will help to provide dedicated support to manufacturing and process development of Flu products supported by the MSAT Viral & Bacterial platform. We drive innovation, excellence and harmonization in data science areas, and will act as data stewards in (future) Technical Teams for all Flu products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Apply data science expertise to solve-related problems using data driven techniques (ML, statistics, text-mining/NLP, forecasting, etc…)
• Participate in the Modeling and development of Process Control Strategy activities for new vaccines and biopharmaceuticals (phase 2 or 3 onwards) AND life-cycle improvements of existing vaccines processes and testing
• Storytelling using data analysis and visualization to assist with problem solving and process optimization
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and engineers to deliver solutions
• Promote the best practices and standards for data science and code development
• Continually upskilling to remain up to date with industry practices and emerging technologies

About You

Functional Requirements And Qualifications:

• Working knowledge in supervised/unsupervised learning, time series, and statistics
• Familiar with ETL flows
• Experience developing deployable robust code
• Working knowledge in cloud and high-performance computing environments
• Excellent communication skills, turning data analysis and model outputs into stories
• A demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a fast-paced evolving team environment

• Fluent In English

Technical Requirements And Qualifications:

• BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields with 2 – 5 years experience
• MS in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related fields with 0 – 2 years experience
• Experience with core data science languages (Python, R, etc…)
• Expertise working with different database systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc…)
• Knowledge of Streamlit, Power BI, Plotly or similar
• Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS or Azure)
• International work environment with current technologies
