Job Description
ASRC Agile Decision Sciences LLC is currently seeking qualified candidates to support our Army G-1 mission under the CECOM SEC SETA program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
ASRC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Scrum Master Journeyman I position to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground.
The Scrum Master Journeyman I will facilitate Agile ceremonies, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help ensure the success of Appian low-code development projects supporting the DAMIS program. This role is essential to ensuring the Army G-1 mission is supported through timely, high-quality delivery of automated workflows and applications that drive personnel readiness and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives) for Appian development teams.
• Support product owners with backlog management and prioritization of DAMIS requirements.
• Remove impediments and support Appian developers and analysts in meeting sprint commitments.
• Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration within an Army G-1 program environment.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to Army stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, SCRUM certifications, or relevant experience.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in Agile environments with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
• Familiarity with Appian development environments and ability to support Agile delivery in low-code platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
Desired Qualifications
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience supporting Army or DoD software development programs.
• Prior experience with Agile facilitation in Appian or similar low-code platforms.
Clearance Requirement
• Active or Interim DoD SECRET clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered.
