Directs the Company's construction activities as the senior on-site Company representative. Maintains client and home office relationships and ensures compliance with contractual obligations for the construction of a large project or several small projects.  Responsible for site safety and security programs, site quality control programs, implementation and adherence to AWP program, interface management, coordination of resources and staffing, construction progress and cost control and maintaining profitability for the project.  

  • Manages field construction, field, engineering, safety, quality, and other field project support activities (procurement, project controls, etc.).
  • Champion for site safety programs and site quality programs. Regularly conducts safety meetings and provides assistance to supervision in addressing areas and conditions requiring attention.
  • Responsible for AWP implementation and measurement for the construction phase of the project.
  • Supervises the development of project schedules and monitors production to assure timely project ‎completion‎.
  • Reviews cost reports and makes analysis to assist in reducing costs and maintaining productivity.
  • Conducts regular project inspections and advises project supervision of work progress‎, ‎quality of ‎work and conditions requiring attention regarding safety‎.
  • Coordinates work with subcontractors to ensure all subcontract work is within project scope and ‎specifications‎ as well as ensuring subcontracts adhere to project policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates with engineers‎, ‎inspectors‎, ‎and client‎/‎owner representatives to isolate project problems ‎and assists in developing solutions‎.
  • Monitors field purchasing activities to assure quality material and timely delivery at competitive ‎costs‎.
  • Conducts regular meetings with project supervision to review project progress, manage interfaces between construction disciplines and to plan future ‎construction activity‎.
  • Determines the necessity of construction equipment and scaffolding while assuring the assets and resources are properly maintained.  
  • High School Diploma
  • Over 10 years relevant work experience  
  • Over 5 years of EPC industrial experience
  • Strong analytic skills  
  • Strong Interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Oral and Written communication skill
  • Ability to reason & problem solve
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience managing and leading work teams
  • Microsoft experience (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Plan and perform complex work where only general policies or procedures are available
  • Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site
  • Preferred:
  • Current or Former Zachry
  • Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent for a two- or four-year college/technical school.

Physical Demands:

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems.  Position will be based from an on-site office on construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (on ground and at heights) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots

Work Environment:

Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites.  On construction sites noise levels will be moderate to high.  Job site will contain - light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells whistles and alarms.
