Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving sales and providing an outstanding customer experience both in-person and over the phone. This role involves processing orders, assisting with product selection, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining an organized, engaging showroom. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative may support the warehouse team as needed.

The Inside Sales Representative reports to the Branch Operations Manager and has no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:
• Live our mission statement and TRUEBLUE Values.
• Drive sales growth by assisting customers with product selection, order placement, and upselling where appropriate.
• Proactively make outbound calls to new and existing customers to identify sales opportunities.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Process transactions accurately using the Lansing’s order management system.
• Maintain a neat and organized showroom and counter area, ensuring displays are current and promotional materials are stocked.
• Coordinate with the outside sales team to fulfill customer needs, order samples, and provide product literature.
• Support order fulfillment by occasionally assisting with warehouse tasks such as pulling orders or checking inventory levels.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Branch Operations Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Work schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, or as directed by the Branch Manager.
