Job Description:

The Payment Specialist will collaborate to ensure that the Regional GS (Global Services) Procurement Payments & Experience organisation delivers results in support of the Global Services, OneProcurement and Johnson & Johnson business strategy and objectives. The role works directly with the business, GS Procurement Source-to-Contract team, and the broader procurement function to ensure a seamless experience for the requestor/business partner when engaging with the procurement process.

The Payment Specialist serves as an established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision.

The role helps implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's strategy and applies practical knowledge of the Payments function to administer best-of-class policies, procedures, and plans.

Key Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Conducts the day-to-day operations of the Payments function. Delivering based upon the agree SLAs and ensuring policy, tax, local and legal statutory compliance
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments in the development and execution of strategies and plans that improve the organizations profitability and competitive position, utilizing market intelligence and risk assessments.
  • Drives continuous improvements in user experience, effectiveness, and efficiency in assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Supports development and implementation of automation and AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Create Value by establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key business partners and peers with a view to pro-actively understand and constructively influence their needs and expectations.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent University degree is required.
  • An MBA or further advanced degree is welcome.

Experience And Skills:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of Procurement, Finance, or other relevant business experience
  • P2p Process Knowledge

  • Collaboration, Communication & Influencing Skills: - someone who works well with others and contributes positively to team dynamic, both within the company and with external partners. Strong communication skills are essential, not only to share ideas and goals effectively but also to build collaborative relationships that help achieve shared objectives
  • Learning Agility & Openness to Change
  • Innovative Mindset

  • Experience with process improvement
  • Fluency in English (written and oral) is required

Preferred:

  • Good understanding of Requisition-to-pay and Source-to-settle processes and operations is preferred.
  • Experience in one or more Procurement Functional domains: Sourcing incl. negotiation of commercial and non-commercial terms, Category management, R2P or Accounts Payable.
  • Shared Services Industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and ServiceNow is advantage

Other:

  • It might require up to 5% of domestic and international travel.
