Imagine The Future With Envalior
As our Business Analyst of Performance Materials, you need to support the strategic and operational management of the product portfolio across the region. This includes supporting to drive top-line growth, optimize gross margins, and translate global product strategies into actionable regional plans. .
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
- Portfolio Strategy & Optimization
- Pipeline Development & Commercialization
- Regional Product Development
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Support the development and execution of regional product line strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Conduct regular assessments of the product mix to ensure alignment with market demand and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize including rationalizing the PM portfolio.
2. Margin Management
- Analyze pricing structures and cost drivers to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Recommend strategic pricing actions in alignment with the global pricing managers and RPM’s. Support the implementation of value based pricing in the region Asia
- Support initiatives to expand market reach and accelerate pipeline conversion.
- Support the commercialization of new products and enhancements tailored to APAC market needs.
- Collaborate with R&D and technical teams to steer product developments specific to Asia region
- Collect market insights and customer feedback for the RPM’s to guide innovation and product adaptation
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify threats and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and differentiation
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Global Business Line, Supply Chain, Commercial and Finance/Controlling to ensure cohesive execution of product strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product management, marketing, or commercial roles within B2B industrial or specialty materials sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments.
- Good Excel skills are of advantage
- Fluent in English; Chinese speaking is a plus.
