Work You’Ll Do:

The Enterprise Architect – Infrastructure is responsible for designing and maintaining the strategic infrastructure architecture for the Deloitte GES Technology division of Deloitte Tax. This role ensures that the IT applications and infrastructure align with the GESTC / Global Advantage Vision goals and integrates effectively with business strategies and technology roadmaps while integrating with other Deloitte teams (e.g. PxE, DTECH, AMG). The architect will lead the development of the GA Vision environment to be scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure frameworks, including cloud, networking, compute, storage, and dev/sec/ops solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain the overall enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy and roadmap.
  • Evaluate and select infrastructure technologies and platforms to align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams on application and infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead standardization of infrastructure design principles, policies, and patterns.
  • Guide implementation of cloud infrastructure strategies (AWS).
  • Ensure infrastructure architecture adheres to risk management (QRM) requirements, security standards (BISO), and industry best practices.
  • Provide expertise in areas such as virtualization, containerization, automation, observability, cloud economics, and Dev/Sec/Ops.
  • Assess the current state of infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement or modernization.
  • Develop documentation, blueprints, and models that communicate architecture decisions.
  • Participate in governance processes to evaluate and approve major infrastructure initiatives.

The Team

At Deloitte Tax LLP, our Global Employer Services professionals help multinational clients develop programs, processes, and digital offerings to manage a global workforce and the compliance obligations arising from global mobility, business travel and remote working. People within our technology group come from a diverse background – they partner with our go-to-market teams and global clients to solve challenging problems and design experiences and products that anticipate what our Deloitte clients will want and also solutions that keep them compliant with global and local regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a Related Field
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure domains: networking, storage, servers, cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams and influence technical decisions
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained:
    • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
      • If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations:
          • Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent)
          • Enrolled Agent
          • Project Management (PMP)
