ABOUT THE ROLE
As a DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) in Cloud Engineering, you will play a key role in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native environments. You’ll design advanced Kubernetes architectures, optimize containerized workloads, and implement Infrastructure-as-Code practices while collaborating with a talented team. This position offers the chance to deepen expertise in AWS, EKS, and Terraform, contributing to high-impact projects in a dynamic, innovative, and growth-focused environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, deploy, and manage Amazon EKS clusters across multiple accounts and regions.
- Implement advanced Kubernetes architectures (multi-tenant clusters, namespaces, RBAC, network policies).
- Develop and maintain custom Kubernetes resources and controllers to extend cluster functionality.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of containerized workloads.
- Integrate Kubernetes with AWS ecosystem services (IAM, ALB Ingress Controller, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices using Terraform for cluster and workload provisioning.
- Perform cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning for performance and cost optimization.
- Establish and enforce best practices and standards for Kubernetes and container orchestration.
MUST HAVES
- 3+ years of experience.
- Kubernetes expertise: Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals (API server, scheduler, controllers, CRDs, admission controllers); strong experience with EKS and self-managed Kubernetes clusters.
- Infrastructure skills: Proficiency in Terraform for IaC; strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, container lifecycle).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment.
- English: Upper-Intermediate level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate; Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD/CKS).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, or Bash).
- Working knowledge of developing basic REST API Services.
