ABOUT THE ROLE
Join as a Senior AWS/Security Networking Engineer to shape secure, scalable cloud networks that drive business impact. You’ll influence design decisions, optimize infrastructure, and collaborate across teams, gaining hands-on experience with AWS and security while growing in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS networking solutions (VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, etc.).
- Define and enforce security standards in alignment with NIST and CIS benchmarks.
- Conduct network and security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and drive remediation plans.
- Support incident response and troubleshooting across the network and security stack.
- Automate routine tasks using infrastructure-as-code and security-as-code best practices.
- Partner with governance, risk, and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness.
MUST HAVES
- 3+ years of experience.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty; AWS Security Specialty.
- Networking expertise: Core networking concepts (routing, DNS, firewalls, load balancers); AWS networking constructs (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway, etc.).
- Security expertise: Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS benchmarks; hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, etc.); understanding of encryption, key management, and secure data flows.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform); familiarity with SIEM, intrusion detection/prevention, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment.
- English: Upper-Intermediate level.
