Full Time
Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance. This role requires working on a rotational weekly shift basis and involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes.
Key Responsibilities Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)- Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.
- Report all work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Promote interdependence by looking out for colleagues’ safety.
- Correct hazards within control and capabilities.
- Recognize the environmental impact of operations and minimize negative effects.
- Participate in HSE training and initiatives.
- Follow all applicable standard work instructions, process documentation, and quality procedures (e.g., SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards).
- Raise issues to minimize cost and quality risks.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts/products.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Operate manual and automated machines to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer specifications.
- Achieve production goals in line with defined cycle times and engineering standards.
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work area; perform routine housekeeping and planned operator care/maintenance tasks.
- Support troubleshooting of equipment issues and work with skilled trades for repairs.
- Remain flexible and perform miscellaneous duties to meet production targets.
- Ensure bottleneck machines continue running during breaks to optimize throughput.
- Communicate effectively with team members, skilled trades, and support functions.
- Complete training and personal development as per business needs.
- Actively contribute to quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development improvements.
- Participate in initiatives such as Kaizen, Q-Pro, and FIFI.
- Support cross-functional teams and other production lines as required.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Licenses/Certifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (mandatory).
- Diploma in Engineering (preferred, Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing).
- May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience in machining processes.
- Familiarity with machining methods such as Grinding, EDM, AFM, SPM, etc.
- Preferred hands-on experience in precision grinding, turning, and related processes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to handle minor equipment issues.
- Ability to operate machines and deliver quality output within defined cycle times.
- Should be able to work in 3-shift rotational schedule.
- Strong adherence to 5S practices and machine area cleanliness.
- Experience in improving RFT (Right First Time) and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) by addressing process losses and rejections.
