About The Position
Are you eager to work with monetization & programmatic partnership within Softonic, a company with a massive reach worldwide (+100 million monthly active users)? We are looking for a monetization Partnership Manager, who will support our Core (B2C) and SaaS (B2B) businesses forward.
We are a global premium publisher (Softonic.com) with 27 years history, providing quality software & apps download service across multiple languages. Since 2020 the business continues to grow and expanded to Appvizer (B2B), Ghacks, Download.com, Filehippo, and publisher network through M&A and partnerships.
The Opportunity: We're on the hunt for a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead our Core and B2B business monetization efforts through external partnerships, with a significant focus on leveraging AdTech & business capabilities. This is a critical role responsible for scoping, partnership-building, implementing, and scaling diverse monetization strategies through external partnerships to drive revenue growth and enhance value in advertising business success and within our SaaS marketplace.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of programmatic advertising and B2B SaaS business models, marketplace dynamics, and a proven track record of hands-on experience in monetization and preferably in SaaS space and successfully launching and scaling both SaaS and advertising-driven monetization initiatives.
What You'Ll Do:
- Business Development: Identify, prospect, and close new partnership opportunities with DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, and other key players in the ad tech ecosystem for both B2C & B2B businesses.
- Deal Negotiation: Lead and execute complex negotiations, including pricing models, contract terms, and integration timelines, to secure mutually beneficial deals.
- Partnership Management: Manage and grow existing relationships, ensuring mutual success and revenue growth.
- Monetization Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive monetization strategy, leveraging new and existing partnerships to optimize revenue.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, advertising and sales teams to align business development efforts with business needs, product roadmaps and revenue targets.
- Performance Analysis: Use data to track partnership performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
- Industry Expertise: Stay on top of the latest trends in programmatic advertising, ad tech, and SaaS monetization
What You'Ll Bring:
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressive experience in monetization, strategic partnerships, business development within the programmatic advertising or ad tech industry, preferably with a strong focus on B2B SaaS and/or marketplace environments.
- SaaS monetization: Experience in developing and managing partnerships that drive revenue for a SaaS product or marketplace monetization.
- Ad Tech Knowledge: Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising landscape, including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, header bidding, etc.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a results-oriented mindset.
- Language: A professional business level of English is required. Other languages like Spanish are preferred but not required.
