Project Manager – Hardware Electrical Engineering (Jira Expert) — Medical Device (Onsite, Arden Hills, MN) Possible Extension

Our Fortune 500 Medical Device client has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. 

Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to help drive success on our hardware electrical engineering projects. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for setting up and managing projects in Jira Software, ensuring our engineering teams have the structure, tools, and reporting they need to deliver high-quality results. 

You’ll work closely with engineers, program management, and leadership to streamline processes, track progress, and provide clear visibility into project performance. Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and maintain Jira Software projects to support hardware electrical engineering teams. 
• Partner with engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, launch, and track projects from kickoff through completion. 
• Create and maintain dashboards, workflows, and reports that give leadership visibility into project status and risks. 
• Consolidate project updates into clear portfolio- and program-level reporting. 
• Lead process improvement initiatives to make our project management approach more efficient and effective. 
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on Jira best practices and other collaboration tools. 

Minimum Requirements:

• 8–14 years of project management experience (depending on degree). Some degrees are EE, Project Management, Business management, computer science, etc. 
• Master's degree, MBA, - may have lesser years of experience 
• Proven hands-on experience developing and managing projects in Jira Software — workflows, dashboards, reporting, and integrations. 
• Background supporting hardware electrical engineering projects or other technical product development efforts. 
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. 
• Comfortable balancing day-to-day project tracking with long-term process improvement 
• Medical Device industry experience 
• Schedule: 08:00:AM - 04:30:PM 
• Work Setup: Onsite — Arden Hills, MN  
• Contract Length: 12 Months (10/20/2025 - 10/19/2026)
