Start-up Engineer

Our Tissue Site Operations department has 8 start-up engineers who primarily work with check-out and commissioning of paper machines and pulp mills at site. 

As a Start-up engineer, your job will be to… 

• Plan assignments in our assembly hall or at site (resource- and time planning, checklists etc.). 
• Execute and lead check-outs, start-ups and process optimization at site. 
• Execute and lead check-outs in our assembly hall before delivery. 
• Perform service and trouble shooting at site. 
• Writing reports and handling deviations after a project. 
• Perform presentations and training of delivered equipment for the customer. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical skills from work experience. 
• You can work independently as well as in a group, and sometimes under time pressure. 
• Interest and possibility to travel, which you will often do during longer periods of time (about 120-160 days/year). 

• Adequate Computer Skills.

• Fluent in English, other languages, such as Swedish, is a plus. 
• Service-minded and customer oriented. 
• Good communications-, collaborations- and leadership skills. 

Desirable

• Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, lubrication systems, programming and control systems. 
• A background in paper technology and process experience, with knowledge of pulp and its production. 
• Experience from similar positions including travelling.
