About The Role:

We’re hiring a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex, cross-functional data into decision-ready insights that guide business decisions and enable the best experience for our Paysend Consumer and Enterprise customers. You’ll work end-to-end: define the right metrics and events, explore the data, build statistical models, and turn findings into clear recommendations that leaders actually use. Day to day, you’ll partner with Commercial, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to answer the “so what,” not just report the “what,” and you’ll help drive faster, more confident decisions across the business.

You’ll bring a scientific mindset to how we work, framing hypotheses, setting success criteria, and measurement solutions. You’ll level up marketing measurement and attribution with robust statistical methods. You’ll build self-serve dashboards and automated readouts that get the right metric to the right owner at the right time.

If you are curious and have a builder mindset who questions assumptions, enjoys ambiguous problems, and lands rigorous, defensible answers, this role is for you. You’ll help coach teams on data literacy and best practices, raising the bar for how Paysend uses data to make decisions,“Simplifying Cross-Border Payments for Everyone”. You’ll report to the Head of Data Analytics in the Analytics Platform team.

What You'Ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Scientific approach to problem solving:You'll support instilling a scientific mindset to analytics by framing problems with explicit hypotheses, success criteria, and a measurement plan, then choose execution strategy to deliver, providing trade-offs when needed. The output is not a report but a decision and action that propels Paysend forward, providing crisp conclusions and high-confidence recommendations stakeholders can implement.
  • Level-up marketing measurement: You’ll evolve marketing attribution and channel measurement using advanced statistical methods to generate efficiency and acquisition effectiveness insights that guide budget allocation and investment decisions.
  • Insight automation to drive action: You’ll work with Data Engineering to automate business detectors for anomalies, drops, and upside signals and route them to the right team at the right time.
  • Use Statistical Methods to Drive Decisions: You’ll build propensity, forecasting, and LTV/payback models that help to accelerate business objectives and insights, then productionalise them with Data Engineering, monitor performance, set thresholds, and drive adoption in the business.
  • Self-serve enabler: You’ll build dashboards and programmatic views for core metrics and automate recurring readouts so teams have the right insights to act faster. Visuals will emphasise “actionability” getting the right metric to the right owner at the right time and you will drive adoption and usability.
  • Support Data Governance and creation of robust data pipelines: You’ll specify events, properties, and schemas, validate tracking and pipelines, working closely with Data Engineering. Proactively contributing to Paysend’s Data Governance KR to ensure data integrity, quality, and reliability.
  • Storytelling through Data: You’ll craft simple and easily digestible visuals and narratives that clearly outline insights, recommendations, outcomes, and trade-offs for senior leaders and help influence prioritisation efforts.
  • Raising data bar: You’ll champion a data-excellence mindset across Paysend, ensuring other teams have the literacy, tools and support to make data-driven decisions.
