Unilever Finance is undergoing an enterprise-wide transformation to radically simplify performance management, embed AI-led forecasting, and modernize the FP&A operating model. This finance-led initiative reimagines how we plan, forecast, and deliver insights across the business.

The Transformation Program Director – FP&A will lead the transformation of Unilever’s global performance management agenda — simplifying KPIs, embedding machine-led forecasting, centralizing FP&A, and building a focused, insight-driven performance culture that empowers markets and fuels growth. This role partners closely with Finance leadership Corporate Centre (CFO,GPM,BGs, BUs), Tech, Data & Insights, GDT and GBS (as an enabler) to land an integrated and high-impact transformation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead End-to-End Project Transformation : Drive the overall program management —ensuring delivery of outcomes across operating model shifts, adoption of AI/ML led futuristic forecasting models (P&L and Cash), and simplification of end-to-end forecast processes.
Cross-Functional Orchestration : Align across key functions – GBS, UniOps, Corporate Centre, BU, BG, and ULE to deliver integrated transformation outcomes at speed and scale
Governance and Executive Reporting : Set up and manage transformation governance frameworks. Provide regular updates, risk escalations, and decision support to BG/BU Finance Leadership, ULE, and steering committees.
Facilitate Design and Deployment of New KPI Framework: Lead the cross-functional effort to define, align, and embed a refreshed set of KPI’s that support strategic decision-making, transparency, and accountability across the enterprise.
Change Management & Capability Activation : Develop and execute the change and communication plan to support adoption of new tools, processes, roles, and KPI’s. Ensure capability-building plans are in place for key Finance roles.
Value Realization & Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key success metrics including forecast accuracy, cycle time, data reliability, and process adoption. Ensure that benefits are measured and sustained over time.
Strategic Partnership with Global FP&A Director : Work closely with the Global FP&A Director to translate strategic vision into operational success—supporting team build-out, tech implementation, and day-to-day execution.
Ensure Alignment with Project Mirai on Tech Transformation: Collaborate closely with the Project Mirai team to ensure synchronization of priorities, architecture, and delivery timelines—enabling seamless integration of finance tools, platforms, and data models.

Qualifications:

15+ years in Finance, Strategy, Transformation, or Program Leadership within a large-scale global environment.
The candidate should have experience in an operating unit, ideally with some global exposure.
Deep understanding of FP&A operations, enterprise performance management, and KPI frameworks.
Proven success in leading multi-dimensional transformation programs across functions and geographies.
Experience with technology transformation, digital finance platforms, and AI/ML finance applications.
Strong program governance, executive stakeholder management, and benefit tracking expertise.
Excellent cross-functional leadership skills, with comfort navigating complex change and ambiguity.
