Children’s Services are seeking to recruit Early Help Advisors based in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
We believe that every child and family need to have the right support at the right time. Prevention and early intervention are our top priority in enabling families to access support to enable better outcomes and stop the problems families face getting worse.
We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity to join our team as Early Help Advisors.
Are you a patient and compassionate person who is able to listen and be curious? We need Early Help Advisors who can liaise with services, families, and their networks to be the first step towards identifying the most appropriate pathway of support. The work can be complex, and no request for support will be the same so being adaptable and flexible is key to the role.
A key part of these roles will be working with colleagues both internally and externally to build capacity and resilience for the future. Understanding of the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Threshold Guide will be vital to the work.
The role is office based with face to face, phone and email, so experience of communicating verbally and in writing is essential. There is need for accurate case recording so the ability to follow process and use computer packages will be needed.
In return the team offers a supportive working environment with an excellent induction package, peer support and training.
We’re committed to continuous professional development and offer benefits such as Norfolk Rewards – a scheme offering discounts on everyday purchases.
It’s your time to be part of our journey.
We want our people to be inspired and motivated to work well together, make the most of our workspaces, enjoy a healthy work-life balance, and deliver excellent services to Norfolk and its people. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely with our extended teams.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check to assess the suitability of candidates to work with children or other vulnerable groups.
Appointment will be subject to Police vetting.
For an informal discussion regarding this role please contact: Claire Gledhill-Haggith on 01603 306148
