This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Aveiro - Portugal, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• The Automation and Robotics Technician is responsable for the maintenance of electronic equipment within the factory perimeter.
• Supports intervention teams in fault analysis and independently handles faults within their area of responsibility.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Automation Engineering/Professional Higher Technical Course, Robotics, or in a similar field
• Knowledge of vision systems (preferably Sherlock and Cognex)
• Knowledge of Siemens PLCs from an electronic maintenance perspective
• Knowledge of Siemens numerical controls from an electronic maintenance perspective
• Knowledge of robotics from an electronic maintenance perspective (ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, UR)
• Availability to work in any shift (mandatory requirement)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Teamwork skills
