We are building a leading Data and Business Intelligence (BI) function to empower Odevo with data-driven insights. Our team is responsible for developing a global data platform, establishing data enablement practices, and delivering impactful insights solutions (BI Products) across the organisation. 

As a senior technical member within our Group Performance Tracking capability, you will shape how Odevo gains value from its performance data and the uses BI tools to superpower decision making. You will own the design, development, and continuous improvement of a suite of BI Products that provide clear, consistent, and actionable insights and performance information to executive stakeholders across the Group, Markets, and Operating Companies (OpCos). 

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

Group Performance Tracking:

• Defining and building a global performance tracking technical ecosystem, including architecture of the required semantic models (with KPI calculations) and an efficiency flow of data from the Data Warehouse to the Performance Tracking Dashboard/s). 
• Defining and supporting the collection and ingestion of data from various sources, including core finance data and manual data collection sheets, to allow the ongoing development of the dashboard/s. 
• Developing, deploying and continuously improving the Performance Tracking Dashboard using PowerBI. 
• Collaborating with data providers, finance, and the D&BI team to define new KPIs and adjust existing ones. 
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to support self-service from both the BI Product (Performance Tracking Dashboard) and Data Products (Semantic Model), to allow the stakeholder to run analysis. 

Technical Ownership:

• Leading the technical development and implementation of our performance tracking platforms (PowerBI), working closely with the Platform Lead to align the Odevo Data & BI strategy. 
• Managing engineering tasks, including data automation and refresh approaches. 
• Ensuring the scalability, transparency, and reusability of our PowerBI landscape. 
• Provide support and guidance to other areas of the Group Data & BI team, including Data Platform and Data Enablement.  
• These activities would ensure the effective support of data-driven decision-making and value measurement across the organisation. 

Who You Are:

You have strong collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with various departments such as finance, group leadership, market leadership, market services, and OpCos. You excel at defining new KPIs and adjusting existing ones in partnership with these teams. Your strong analytical skills enable you to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights that drive decision-making and value creation. You possess delivery management skills, allowing you to oversee the development and deployment of performance tracking solutions, including managing timelines, resources, and deliverables. Additionally, you are adept at delivering individual and group training sessions. Your effective communication skills are crucial for presenting data insights, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring that data solutions align with the organization's strategic goals.

Experience:

• Proven experience within MI/BI related disciplines. 
• Strong technical skills in data automation, data visualisation, and BI products.
• Demonstrated experience in PowerBI, SQL, Python and Azure Notebooks
• Working knowledge of data platforms, including Azure Fabric and Enterprise Data Models.
• Experience of defining and building performance tracking systems, including KPIs and data gap analysis.
