Endoscopy Technician, Full Time, First Shift

UC Health is Hiring a full-time Endoscopy Tech for the Endoscopy department for the first shift at UC Medical Center.

As an Endoscopy Tech, you'll be a vital member of our Endoscopy team, supporting physicians and nurses during life-changing procedures and ensuring equipment is clean, functional, and ready to go. You’ll help deliver a seamless experience for patients and support the team in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

• Communicates appropriately based on age/development. Educates patients/families clearly. Involves family/guardians in care. Identifies physical limitations and intervenes. • Handles calls, scheduling, and filing. Orders supplies and supports department flow. Attends meetings and maintains equipment. Completes unit assignments.
• Keeps call light and essentials within reach. Responds to emergencies and ensures equipment availability.
• Ensures bed and side rail safety. Assists with movement and discharge. Secures patients during transport. Applies/document safety devices. Manages inventory and oxygen tanks.
• Turns over rooms and disinfects equipment. Prepares and delivers equipment for sterilization. Stocks linens and supplies Trained in Olympus scope processing. Cleans, disinfects, and maintains scopes. Performs leak tests and reports damage.

Education And Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Years of Experience:  Minimum of 1-2 years of patient care experience required
• Preferred: Experience in endoscopy or surgical services and knowledge of Olympus scope processing
