Warehouse Team Manager

About The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to support our Rotating Day Shift at Stafford (ST16 1GY).

Shift Pattern: Rotating Days - 06:00 – 14:00/ 14:00 – 22:00 

How will you contribute? 

•Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift•Support colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership•Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts•Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations•Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource•Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations•Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments•Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours•Display a ‘can do’ attitude to enhance motivation of team•Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)•Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity•Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives•Ensure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and regularly reviewed.

•Operational Experience•Excellent organisational/time management skills•People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes•Good analytical and numerical skills•Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills•Excellent communicator (verbal & written)•Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements•Team Development•Ability to work without direct supervision•Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word•Work within a team and able to interact at all levels.
