The Letter of Credit Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of various activities related to letters of credit. This includes providing business coverage during the "TradeGO" migration project, which is scheduled for implementation in Q4 2025. The Associate will issue import documentary and standby letters of credit, as well as process amendments. Additionally, they will advise and confirm export documentary and standby letters of credit and execute payments associated with these instruments. The role also involves conducting relevant controls for transaction processing, which includes compliance checks and obtaining necessary approvals from the Middle and Front Offices, when applicable. Furthermore, the Associate will perform cash reconciliation, invoice clients and apply received fees accordingly, and provide daily updates to clients regarding letters of credit activities. It is essential for the Associate to deliver accurate results in a fast-paced environment, often under time constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all transactions in a timely manner.
- Deliver high-quality service to customers in accordance with agreements, ensuring adherence to all processes, policies, and controls.
- Understand and apply legal and regulatory requirements, including anti-boycott regulations, OFAC, AML, and red flag indicators.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of all USD and foreign currency activities.
- Maintain strong working relationships with the Middle and Front Offices, Compliance, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Review and respond to all email inquiries promptly.

The salary range for this position will be between $110,000 - 145,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
