Responsibilities
Formalize is on a scaling journey with significant traction across Europe. As our new Account Executive, you'll be part of our German team at the Munich office, where your primary responsibilities will be:
- Foster strong and effective collaboration with the German sales team
- Own, close and develop customer accounts in the German market
- Drive sales and partnerships pipeline and portfolio
- Provide customized and impactful demonstrations of Formalize solutions to prospects, addressing German customer’s specific needs and priorities
- Work in close collaboration in pre- and post-sales stages with Customer Success, Sales Development and Product Development teams
About The Team
Our German sales team currently consists of 8 people focused on the whole DACH region. The team you will be joining is currently bases in both our Aarhus office as well as our Madrid office. You will be one of our fist employees in our Munich office and play a vital role in driving the expansion of our DACH market and the establishment of our new Munich office.
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in B2B SaaS sales in new business (Account Executive)
- Experienced in managing a sales cycle and engaging with stakeholders from the DACH market
- Experience in sales development
- Experience with complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- You are a team player and a quick learner, and you love to see results
- You are not afraid to grab the phone, make some mistakes and learn from them
- Able to work 40 hours a week in our Munich office
- Native fluency in German and professional fluency in English
- Knowledge of German work culture
Additionally, these are seen as a plus:
- Experience with Compliance/InfoSec/GRC
- Experience selling into regulated industries
- Familiarity with Hubspot

- Starting date: As soon as possible, ideally in November. However, we’re happy to wait for the right candidate and can accommodate a later start depending on your current commitments.
