We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who thrives in a high-growth, complex environment. If you’ve experienced traditional accounting and audit roles, and want to move beyond “just reporting” into helping steer the business, this is your shot. Preference is given to those who can work Hybrid in our downtown Vancouver office.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis — The Core Of The Role

This is the bread and butter. You’ll work closely with a senior accountant (who handles preparation, and you’ll detail review), and ensure the numbers are accurate at a brand and department level. We’ve got three main workflows: 1) Coding payments made through our bank account, 2) Reviewing and coding transactions on our corporate credit cards, 3) Month-end close procedures (with draft results produced within 5 business days).

• Own monthly financial close deliverables (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Consolidate reporting across 6 brands with clear variance analysis and commentary on trends.
• Package results into leadership decks that actually tell the story behind the numbers.
• Bring an “AI-first” mindset — we want someone curious about how Agentic AI can speed up and improve accuracy in finance workflows.
• Standardize reporting templates across brands for efficiency and scalability.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and brand managers.

Fp&A & Strategic Insights — From News Reporter To News Maker

Here’s where you stop just reporting what happened and start shaping what happens next.

• Build and maintain rolling forecasts, quarterly budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Partner with channel managers (Amazon, Paid Media, Organic Marketing, TikTok) to track revenue, margins, and ROI — and help them improve.
• Track and analyze KPIs (CAC, LTV, ROAS, working capital, inventory turnover).
• Dive into profitability at the product, channel, and brand level (price/volume/mix, contribution margins, unit economics).
• Support scenario planning for new product launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives

Operations & Other — Keeping The Engine Running

This is where you get to learn how the financial engine of a $40M+ e-commerce company actually works, day to day.

• Monitor and transfer cash balances across accounts to optimize yield.
• Review and approve vendor payments.
• Support annual income tax filings and ongoing indirect tax requirements.
• Help with ad hoc projects like M&A analysis, capital raising, or strategic partnerships.
• Strengthen controls and streamline processes in a multi-entity, multi-currency setup.

Qualifications

• CPA, CA, or equivalent preferred.
• 3–4 years in financial analysis, audit, or accounting (Big 4 experience is a strong asset).
• Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting concepts, and FP&A principles.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills; BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, Syft, Spotlight) is a plus.
• Exposure to e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop) or consumer brands strongly preferred.
• Strong communicator who can distill complex financial data into clear insights.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting.
